Scope & Content:

  • Two hundred 35mm slides and a videotape created by Loren Salzman document Vietnam and Japan in 1968 during his military service in the Mobile Riverine Force. There are no captions for the slides. The video footage was transferred from 8mm film.

Biographical Note:

  • Salzman served as a sergeant in the Mobile Riverine Force, 9th Division, 4th and 47th Infantries in Vietnam in 1968.
