Scope and Content
Two copies of the memoir ^D<"Moc Hoa: A Vietnam Medical-Military Adventure^D>" (1990) document Larry Kammholz's experiences in Vietnam. Written permission is required from Mr. Kammholz for the reprint of any part of this book. Please see the archivist for details.
Mr. Kammholz served as an adviser in Moc Hoa from the summer 1966 to mid-1967. He served with the Military Provincial Hospital Assistance Program (MILPHAP), under the jurisdiction of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), supporting and training Vietnamese to work in the province hospital. He then assisted in the development of health clinics in the outlying areas of the province.
