CD-Rom containing images from Howard Hirsch's time in Vietnam with the 12th Evacuation Hospital at Cu Chi, Forty-seven audio tapes containing correspondence between Howard Hirsch and his family, and Operation reports from the 12th Evacuation Hospital, September 1968 to October 1969.

Howard S. Hirsch was born in Chicago, Illinois on 13 June 1935. He was drafted into the United States Army in September 1967 and served a tour of duty in Vietnam as a doctor with the 12th Evacuation Hospital in Cu Chi from September 1968 to September 1969. Hirsch received a Bronze Star during his tour of duty and was discharged with the rank of Major following its conclusion.
