Scope and Content

DVD contains footage of a memorial service held at the Detachment 8, 1st Combat Evaluation Group Association Reunion in Richmond, Kentucky on September 2007 and the unveiling of the SkySpot Monument at Barksdale Air force Base, Louisiana. in November 2007. Pathes, comemorative coin, and 2008 Reunion DVD from the 1st Combat Evaluation Group.

Biographical Note

The 1st Combat Evaluation Group was activated on 1 August 1961 at Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana. It missions include providing command level standardization/evaluation of Strategic Air Command (SAC) air crews, radar scoring of simulated bombing activity by SAC aircraft, contingency warfare support required by the Air Force and SAC and emphasizing the tactical use of SAC aircraft.
