Scope & Content:

  • Four photographs from the USS ATA 196 circa 1946-1947. The ATA 196 was renamed the USS Mahopac in 1948. Michael Brunetti is standing on the left in the photograph where three sailors are standing.

Biographical Note:

  • Michael Brunetti graduated from U.S. Naval basic training in December 1945 and served aboard the USS ATA 196, 1946-1947. He married Gloria Brunetti after his two year enlistment. He passed away on 26 May 1986.
