Scope and Content

Approximately half a linear foot of slides document William L. Burr's service with the 1st Cavalry Division in An Khe from August 1965 to September 1966 and the 101st Airborne Division in Phu Bai from November 1968 to October 1969.

Biographical Note

William L. Burr served two tours of duty in Vietnam with the United States Army. His first tour of duty was with the 1st Cavalry Division at An Khe from August 1965 to September 1966 and the 101st Airborne Division at Phu Bai from November 1968 to October 1969.
