Scope & Content:

  • Less than a quarter of a linear foot of documents and a museum object donated to the archive by Doug Szymik. The collection contains a small Erma - Werks Model EP .25 caliber pocket pistol, the original export license for the pistol, and other paperwork. James Johnson took the pistol from a VC paymaster who was killed in a claymore ambush by E Troop 1/1st Cavalry. Johnson later sold the gun to Szymik.
