Scope and Content

Less than a quarter of a linear foot of documents, newsletters, and newspapers donated by Ed Gates. The documents include a roster of Nay chaplains for September 1970, a welcome booklet for the US Naval Air Facility at Cam Ranh Bay, and two other booklets, one about the Navy in Vietnam and chaplains in Vietnam. Also included in the collection are copies of the Hai Quan (U.S. Navy) newspaper and the Sandpiper Familygram the newsletter of the U.S. Naval Air Facility at Cam Ranh Bay. The materials date from August 1970 through December 1971.
