  • Itinerary of the U.S.S. Frank E. Evans from February 3, 1954 to September 25, 1945; a Muster Roll of the Crew for February 3, 1945; and a November 21, 1969 report from the Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Pacific Fleet to the Judge Advocate General on the "Joint USN/RAN Investigation on collision of USS Frank E. Evans and HMAS Melbourne on 3 June 1969 donated to the Vietnam Archive by Michael O'Brien. Also included in the collection are letters written by O'Brien in 2001 to J. C. and Sylvia Campbell in which he describes his experiences while serving on board the U. S. S. Frank E. Evans in the 1940s.
