Scope & Content:

  • Less than one linear foot of official photographs document Bigadier General Edwin H. Simmons' two tour of duty in Vietnam, 1965-1966, 1970-1971. All photographs date from these two date spans and are 8x10 prints with captions.

Biographical Note:

  • Brigadier General Edwin H. Simmons served two tours of duty during the Vietnam Conflict. He was attached as a G-3 with II MAF and CO, 9th Marines, 1965-1966. Then from 1970 through 1971, Simmons served as ADC, 1st Marine Division.
