Scope and Content

Less than one linear foot of official photographs document Bigadier General Edwin H. Simmons' two tour of duty in Vietnam, 1965-1966, 1970-1971. All photographs date from these two date spans and are 8x10 prints with captions.

Biographical Note

Brigadier General Edwin H. Simmons served two tours of duty during the Vietnam Conflict. He was attached as a G-3 with II MAF and CO, 9th Marines, 1965-1966. Then from 1970 through 1971, Simmons served as ADC, 1st Marine Division.
