Description:
(USAF) Martin M. Montemore, originally from St. Joseph, Missouri, served in the U.S. Air Force from 1967 until 1975. Martin went to Southeast Asia in 1969 as a C-130 pilot and was stationed at Ching Chuan Kang AB, Taiwan, with the 776th Tactical Airlift Squadron. From CCK, he flew multiple missions in South Vietnam, and other missions in Taiwan, the Philippines, Japan, South Korea, Indonesia, India, Nepal, Thailand, and Cambodia while accumulating over 1,000 combat flying hours. He returned from Southeast Asia in 1970, retired from active duty in 1975, attended law school, and then joined the USAF National Guard in 1979 and served until 1995 when he retired a Lieutenant Colonel.
