Description:
(USMC) William R. Hancock, originally from Cincinnati, Ohio served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1966 until 1969. Bill went to South Vietnam in March 1967 and served as a rifleman in Hotel Company, 2/26th Marines, until April 1968. With Hotel Co., he took part in numerous combat operations including HICKORY, LIBERTY I and II, COVE, and SCOTLAND at Khe Sanh during the 77-day siege. Interview conducted by Richard B.
