Description:
(USA) Dr. Ron Milam enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1968 and served until 1971. He was in South Vietnam from May 1970 until May 1971 in Phu Nhon District, Pleiku Province (II Corps), working for Military Assistance Command-Vietnam as a Senior Advisor for Mobile Advisory Team 38. Ron worked with Montagnard tribes in training People's Self Defense Forces (PSDFs) to defend villages from Viet Cong and NVA attacks. Dr. Milam is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of History at Texas Tech University.
