Description:
Viet Cong attack on GVN Television Station Fails - A Viet Cong terrorist set off an unknown size explosive charge near the Vietnamese television complex in Saigon on May 5, that killed three Vietnamese and injured scores of other civilians. The explosion failed to put the television station out of operation; however, it heavily damaged the World University Service 9WUS) building adjacent to the television station. The killed, and many of the wounded, were in the WUS building.
