Description:
Members of the 199th Infantry Brigade move through a leech infested irrigation canal while part participating in Operation Rang Dong near Cat Lai. Hours earlier the united landed in rice paddies an a part of a huge helicopter assault. PFC Fred L. Greenleaf from Company C, 3rd Battalion 7th Infantry, 199th Light Infantry Brigade holds his rifle above the water as he moves through the canal. Directly behind PFC Greenleaf is Daniel R. Bauer. Daniel is a motion picture cameraman from the Department of the Army Special Photography Office (DASPO). Dan is holding his camera over his shoulder. (Printed if reverse) Photo by Robert C.
