Description:
This video is made from all the Super 8 movie film from the Skuce Collection and narrated by Bud Skuce. They were filmed during Operations SLINGSHOT, SEA LORDS, GAME WARDEN, and SEA FLOAT. Locations specified are Phu Quoc Island and the Ca Mau peninsula. Vessels seen in these films include PCF-71, PBR-35, LSMR-536 USS White River, and a Monitor (M-131-2) of the Mobile Riverine Force, a "Mark II Swift Boat" used by the SVN Navy, and the SEA FLOAT pontoon structure. Other objects of interest include battle damage to PCFs, bunkers, boats and materiel captured from the Viet Cong operating in the area, bunkers and spider holes being burned or blown up, a captured VC arms cache, and RF-PFs (Regional Forces/Popular Forces) being transported on the boats.

Description:
This film was taken in 1967 during Skuce's first trip to Vietnam. He was aboard the USS Paul Revere APA 248. The ship was transporting Marines up the Cua Viet River to Hue. Skuce was in charge of the ships armory and as such was placed on the Boat Group Commander's craft to serve as gun repair for the Mike boats in the operation.
