Scope and Content

A yearbook from 1963 - 1964, two decorative ashtrays, and a plaque document Charles E. Wilson's service aboard the USS Frank E. Evans.

Biographical Note

Charles E. Wilson was born on November 2, 1929 in Pensacola, Florida. He joined the United States Navy in 1948 and served aboard the USS Frank E. Evans DD-754 from 1963 to 1966. Wilson retired from the Navy in 1970 as a Chief Hospital Corpsman. He worked as an X-Ray technician in various hospitals after his retirement from the Navy. Wilson died from lung cancer on June 23, 1999.
