Scope and Content

Diary of DD-754 U.S.S. Frank E. Evans by Higginbottom ("Higgy"), April 1945 - March 1946; email from Jack Druckemiller; photocopy of Floyd Sproles obituary; and photographs document Evans sailors. Also, a VHS tape of a news report detailing the the efforts of the Frank E. Evans Association to get a destroyer named after Frank E. Evans; correspondence between Richard Gleason and various government officals concerning the same effort.

Biographical Note

Higginbottom served on the Frank E. Evans in Fire Control, 3rd Class.
