Military administrative documents and flight records, books, artifacts, photographs, maps, newsletters, periodicals, and newsletters document Marshall Harrison's three tours of duty in Vietnam as a Forward Air Controller from 1964 to 1970.<

Biographical Note:

Marshall Harrison was a pilot with the U.S. Air Force. Harrison piloted numerous aircraft including the B-47, B-52 and OV-10. Harrison served three tours of duty in Vietnam starting in 1964 and ending in 1970, flying more than 500 combat sorties over Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia as an Air Liaison Officer/Forward Air Controller with the 1st and 3rd Brigades, 1st Infantry Division and the 3rd Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division. Harrison's citations and awards include the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry, Vietnamese Medal of Honor and the Presidential Unit Citation.
