Scope & Content:

  • A VHS tape containing film footage of the evacuation of Asigon, 29 April 1975; Magazine and newspaper articles concerning the Vietnam War; and a book titled Viet Nam in Flames by Nguyen Man Dan and Nguyen Ngoc Hanh deal with the Vietnam War and its ending in 1975.

Biographical Note:

  • John E. Stallman was born on 1 March 1922. He became a major in the United States Marine Corps and was a pilot in Air American in Viet Nam, 1965-1974. Stallman died on 5 March 2005.
