Scope and Content

Two articles written by William T. Brown document his service in the US Navy, 18 April 1940 - 18April 1946. Both articles are from the post-Vietnam Conflict era.

Biographical Note

William T. Brown was born on 15 September 1919. On 18 April 1940, Brown joined the US Navy, serving aboard the USS Louisville, Subchaser 1302, and the USS Richard B. Anderson before his discharge on 18 April 1946. During that time, Brown served as a gunners mate. He is a member of the Small Craft Association (Patrol Craft Sailors Association) and the USS Louisville Reunion Association.
