Scope and Content

This collection contains the names and sometimes short biographies of individuals killed in Vietnam from 1961 to 1968. The one linear foot of material was brought together from a variety of sources, including the National Archive and Records Administration, The American War Library, The University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, the Congressional Record, and the Office of Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs). The material is in fair to good condition with some oversized material. The Office of Assistant Secretary of Defense (Public Affairs) provides more detailed information for casualties from 1966-1970.
