Scope and Content

The Contemporary Files section of the Douglas Pike Collection begins with the year 1997 and covers 19 different topics on Vietnam, Cambodia, and Laos. This section of the collection contains information on events and people related to Cambodia. The collection consists of newspaper clippings, e-mail messages, United States Government Foreign Broadcast Information Service (FBIS) translations, periodical journal articles, and conference papers. The primary use of the collection was for the Indochina Chronology, edited by Douglas Pike and produced by the Vietnam Center at Texas Tech University.
