Scope and Content

DVDs created by William L. Reynolds document his activities after his Vietnam War service. "Our Vietnam Story: The Life and Times of Charlie Company Troopers" is a documentary created by Reynolds to give an explanation of the purpose of the Vietnam War using film footage taken his fellow veteran friends. "Ap Bac Revisited" documents Reynolds' return visit to the Mekong Delta in June 2007.

Biographical Note

Reynolds was drafted by the U.S. Army, on May 17, 1966 into the 9th Infantry Division of the Army, and was stationed in Fort Riley, Kansas. He served with the 2nd Platoon, Charlie Company, 4th/47th Batallion, 2nd Brigade from 1966 - 1968. Reynolds tour of Vietnam ended in 1968. He was part of the Mobile Riverine Force in the Mekong Delta. He fought in several battles throughout the Mekong Delta and the Rung Sat Special Zone. Now Reynolds runs a website for the 9th Infantry Division and organizes the Charlie Company reunions.
