Book titled "Quoth the Raven" documents Jim Roper's service as a Forward Air Controller with the United States Air Force in Southeast Asia.

Biographical Note

Col. Jim Roper (USAF, retired) discusses his experiences as a Forward Air Controller in Southeast Asia. Roper served with the Covey FACs in Pleiku, as well as with the Raven FACs in Laos. He returned to Southeast Asia as part of Operation Flycatcher, an effort to train Cambodian FACs prior to the fall of the Cambodian government. Roper served four tours in Southeast Asia.
