  • Book titled The Bamboo Shoot: The Story of the 2nd Airboat Platoon by James Parker Wollner.

Biographical Note:

  • James Parker Wollner was drafted into the United States Army at the age of 21 in 1967 and served in Vietnam with the newly created 2nd Airboat Platoon of the 9th Infantry Division. After his Army service, Wollner graduated from Bloomfield College in 1971 with degrees in History and Political Science. Wollner retired from his hospital position in New Jersey after being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis in 1986 and began writing his memoirs.
