  • Original seven-page list of survivor names sent by the USS Kearserge on the morning of June 3, 1969, photocopies of photographs, and memorial service agenda from the USS Kearsage and at the Long Beach Naval Station document the collision between the USS Frank E. Evans (DD 754) and the HMAS Melbourne on June 3, 1969.

  • Chief Radioman Nathan R. Bezotte served aboard the USS Frank E. Evans (DD 754) from October 1968 to June 3, 1969.
