Description:
(IVS, USAID, POW) Mike Benge served with International Voluntary Services from 1962 to 1964 in the Mekong Delta, Ban Me Thuot, and Kontum. In 1965, he began work with USAID in Ban Me Thuot until his capture during Tet 1968. After a long and arduous journey North, Benge remained imprisoned in North Vietnam until the general POW release in March 1973.
