Description:
(USA) Paula D. Wright, who served as "Paul D. Wright," was born in 1950 in Lubbock TX. She graduated from Coronado High School in Lubbock in 1969, and volunteered for the US Army. After advanced training in helicopter maintenance at Ft Rucker AL, she arrived in Vietnam in January 1970. During her first tour she served with the 240th and 173rd Assault Helicopter Companies. After additional service in the US, she entered a second tour in Vietnam, serving with the 159th and 229th Assault Helicopter Companies between August 1971 and June 1972. Paula is active with the Transgender American Veterans Association.
