Cruise movie taken by various aviators from the Attack Squadron Fifty-two (VA-52) assigned to Carrier Air Wing Eleven (CVW-11) aboard the USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63) in 1972. VA-52 flew the A6-A and A-6B Intruder attack jets and the KA6-D tanker jet. The various voice transmissions and cockpit audio the SAM hit to one of Kitty Hawk's A-7 Corsairs followed by the pilot's ejection from the plane (the pilot was picked up by helicopter and was onboard Kitty Hawk before the rest of the strike group returned). The feature starts with the music recorded by a USAF pilot singing the Battle Hymn of the Red River Rats Association. Video starts with various views of the 'Hawk' and then proceeds with various activities involving VA-52. Photographed and edited by Fred House, Buz Sawyer.
