Oral History Project Interviews

The Oral History Project employs two full-time oral historians and several transcriptionists to conduct interviews and make them available in the Archive and through the internet. The following pages provide access to the interviews and information about the interviewees. Interviews online are in a streaming mp3 format and require a media player to be able to listen to them. There are many freely available media players on the web. Transcripts are in a pdf format and require a pdf viewer in order to be accessed. Adobe Acrobat reader is the most common of these, but there are other options available.

Transcribing interviews is a time-consuming process. We strive to make the audio of interviews available as soon as possible, but some interviews may not yet have transcripts available online. These will be added as soon as the transcription and review process is complete.

For more information on the interview process, go to the Interviews section of this website.
