Oral History Project Update

The Oral History Project continues to grow at a very fast pace. Since the last update, we have conducted 50 interviews and have placed 104 interviews online in the Virtual Archive. We now have completed 340 interviews with most of them available online, either as pdf files and/or in their audio format. The Oral History Project has also hired a second oral historian, Dr. Laura M. Calkins. Laura earned her Ph.D. in Modern History, specializing in the International History of Southeast Asia, from the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. Her dissertation focused on Chinese-Viet Minh relations between 1948 and 1952.
