The staff of the archive have created a number of Subject Guides in order to provide better and more comprehensive access to the materials in our collections on certain popular subjects. New subject guides are added as they become available.

In an effort to increase the size and scope of our holdings, and to provide increased and more focused access to our materials, the archive has undertaken numerous special projects on a variety of subjects or topics. Many of these projects are still underway.

Books and Journals

The archive contains a library of over 10,000 titles. To search for books go to the TTU Library Catalog. Note that books in the archive's holdings are non-circulating and are not available for check-out or through Interlibrary Loan. Books must be used onsite in our reading room.

Some current journals are also available online to researchers. The majority of these are only available for use on the Texas Tech campus or by TTU faculty/staff/students with a valid eRaider username and password.

Purchasing Duplicates of Archive Materials

Duplicate copies of many archival materials are available for purchase. See our Rights and Reproductions page for more information.

If you are unable to find the information you are looking for after consulting the resources listed on this page and the Virtual Vietnam Archive, or you are having problems with your research, please feel free to submit a question through our Reference Request Form. Please provide us with a valid email address to reply to and be sure to check your junk mail or spam folder if you have high security settings on your email account. Please note that due to the volume of requests received, it may take a couple of weeks before your question can be answered.
